Q: What is a lesson you've learned that has shaped your work?

A: You are nothing without community. Community is what really keeps your business and personal life running.

Q: What does a typical day in your life look like?

A: Every day is different, but it always involves getting up to return urgent emails, messages, calls, social media, etc, and then enjoying my cappuccino right after. I usually go to each of my 3 locations and say hello to everyone, check on all equipment, and make sure everything is running smoothly. Then after that, it's breakfast/lunch and I'm usually back on my computer to continue with responding and managing social media. I usually spend a couple of hours strategizing the "big picture." Then it's dinner and that's always different every day.

Q: What’s a recent book, podcast, or news story that you found interesting?

A: I'm obsessed with Jenna Kutcher's "Goal Digger Podcast" and the "No Bullsh!t Leadership" Podcast.

Q: What makes Cincinnati a great place to start a business?

A: Cincinnati is a great place to start a business because it's so untapped and communities really support businesses now more than ever before! Cincinnati has so much potential for growth, where there are many concepts that are not even here yet!

Q: What’s one piece of advice would you give a young entrepreneur in Greater Cincinnati?

A: Ask ALL the questions, soak up every bit of knowledge in your field (plus entrepreneurial/leadership in general) and learn from others' mistakes so you can avoid them yourself.
